June Again

Noni Hazlehurst leads as June, a woman with dementia who wakes one morning briefly lucid and seizes the chance to set her family and business back on course. Why it’s here: dementia is the premise — a common, limiting default for older women on screen — but the film is included because June is an active, funny, commanding lead who drives every scene rather than being defined by her decline.
